Casey Crawford is the co-founder and CEO of Movement Mortgage, founded in 2008. By focusing on loving people and restoring integrity and service to the mortgage industry, Casey has built one of the nation’s fastest-growing mortgage companies. In 2016, Movement financed 55,000 homes purchases in the country, totaling over $12 billion in originations and $610 million in annual revenue. The company employs more than 4,200 people in four operations centers and more than 450 branches across 47 states.
Movement has revolutionized the customer experience with an agent-centric business model and extraordinarily fast, innovative loan approval process. This process begins with upfront, six-hour underwriting and aims to finish the loan process in seven business days or less.
The organization’s non-profit, the Movement Foundation, has reinvested over $16 million, demonstrating Casey’s belief that a company should be judged not by what it extracts from a community, but by what it gives.
A subsidiary company, Movement Insurance, provides customers with an array of insurance services.
Casey has been featured by Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Fox News, Fox Business, Housing Wire, and TIME. He was awarded Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2015 Southeast in Financial Services.
From 2002 to 2003, Casey played tight end for the Super Bowl XXXVII Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Carolina Panthers in 2000 and 2001 and was also drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 1995.
